Amputation injury claims

The loss of a limb is a life changing event. It will bring many challenges that will be daunting and difficult to face. Liverpool Solicitors, Richard Edwards & Co, have the expertise to help you confront those challenges.

If liability for your injury is accepted, we will secure interim payments. This will help you to buy the best prosthetic equipment available. It can also help pay for other equipment and rehabilitation needs. If you need new accommodation, it can help pay for that too. This money can also help you to meet your day to day living costs.

We will help to protect your entitlement to welfare benefits by setting up a personal injury trust. We will also ensure that you get independent specialist financial investment advice.

Our expertise lies in thoroughly investigating your claim and maximising your chances of success. We will adopt the best strategy to secure this outcome. We will also help to maximse the compensation award. We will gather evidence and speak to witnesses. When required we will appoint leading barristers as part of your team, and seek advice from expert witnesses. We will provide funding for this. Your opponent will be required to reimburse the costs at the end of the claim.
